Chapter 129: The Self-Propelled Armor

The box opened, revealing a half-cigar-shaped object, about seven or eight centimeters long and two centimeters thick, with a button on top. This strange item, resting on the seemingly luxurious bottom lining of the box, immediately appeared precious.

Lin Yanyun also stared at the capsule in astonishment but remained silent.

Albert interjected somewhat reservedly, "I am familiar with the descriptions of spatial rings, but the technology behind this far surpasses our comprehension. Lin Dongyun tossed the capsule into the center of the living room. There was a soft thud, accompanied by a puff of white mist like steam, which quickly dissipated, revealing a humanoid suit of armor kneeling before them.

The armor was over a meter and a half tall even while kneeling. It was primarily silver with red and blue trim, a design that was both ornate and futuristic.

However, what shocked Lin Dongyun was that this magnificent suit of armor was worn by a large, fair-skinned woman!

Although the woman was kneeling with her head bowed, obscuring her face, the visible high bridge of her nose, pale lips, and pointed chin suggested she was beautiful.

Her figure, however, was remarkably tall. Even with the height added by the armor, it wasn’t excessive. Kneeling, she was over a meter and a half tall – standing, she must be over two meters tall! Her shoulders were also over a meter wide, suggesting a very robust build. Yet her posture and proportions suggested a perfectly proportioned, exceptionally tall woman, a tall woman that matched Lin Dongyun’s aesthetic perfectly.

Lin Yanyun gasped, covering her mouth: "It’s a person?!"

Xiaohēi, who had secretly peeked out from the wristwatch, also widened its eyes in shock.

"It must be a robot, right? Didn’t you say the capsule can’t store living things?" Lin Dongyun said calmly.

Degen smiled, "Yes, this is the Gran Empire’s most advanced close-quarters protection God-class self-propelled armor. However, in the Gran Empire, we prefer to call it the God-class mecha."

Lin Dongyun nodded, but inwardly scoffed, "You’re taking advantage of my lack of knowledge, right? If you said it was a protection robot, I’d have accepted it, even if it looks very much like a real person. But you call it a mecha? I don’t believe it! Don’t you need a robot that can be piloted inside a machine to be considered a mecha?"

"General Lin, this God-class mecha is still blank. You need to perform a blood oath to claim it. The authentication terminal is located on the mecha’s forehead," Albert said.

"Okay." Lin Dongyun held his saber, blade upward, using his thumb to open the blade slightly. A drop of blood welled up, and he walked towards the motionless God-class mecha.

Getting closer, Lin Dongyun discovered that the skin visible beneath the armor was not latex or anything similar; rather, it was a non-reflective, milky white metal. He could also see that the armor and woman were one piece, the color difference creating an optical illusion, making it seem like a woman wearing armor.

Lin Dongyun inwardly muttered, "What’s wrong with the Gran Empire’s designers? They could have just made a powerful-looking robot! Why create this kind of robot deliberately exposing much of its humanoid skin? Does it make them seem more artistic?"

Muttering to himself, he squatted down and looked up. Indeed, under the helmet, there were no eyes on the milky white "woman’s" nose bridge, but there was a brow ridge, and a red dot on the center of the brow – clearly the blood oath activation point.

Next, the red and blue trim of the armor began to glow. The armor was activated.

Lin Dongyun pressed his wristwatch against the armor and said, "Xiaohēi, send it my identity."
